Motorola has launched a new Android cell phone for U.S. consumers. It is named Defy that stands for “designed to handle everything that life throws your way.” It is a scratch, water and dust resistance phone. It has a nice 3.7-inch display screen with 5MP camera, Motoblur UI, Google services support, DLNA and more.

Motorola has unveiled new Android devices for the Chinese market. The new devices belong to the MING Series that was created in 2006 specially for Chinese consumers with Chinese handwriting support. Three new phones announced today feature an improved MING flip design and the reminiscent transparent flip cover.

Adding to its Android lineup, Motorola announced the launch of two new android based smart phones in India. Motorola Milestone XT720, world’s slimmest 8 Megapixel camera phone is loaded with Android 2.1 while Motorola Backflip, world’s first reverse flip designed handset is disappointedly powered by Android 1.5.
